Track 1. Intro
Saturday. I didn't sleep before the event as much as I need to do, but I'd catch the tramp almost to Tel Aviv, so it already was a good start for the minitrip. The weather was just for the misty cold noisefest - endless heavy rain with all the sky covered with grey clouds. The event had to be started at 20:30, but I was there at 16:00 to meet/talk/hang out with old and new friends. Parzival the Black was there at 16:30.
Track 2. Pre-festival Madness
It was 10 people in the club at 16:00 making soundcheck and all the needful stuff for the future performance. Parzi was there at 16:30 and we went to talk with our Canadian guest from the Rough Age project. Some technical problems made the festival start a little bit later than we were planning. Me and Parzi before the starting of the whole Thing were watching the CDs of Israeli labels The Eastern Front and Tophet Prophet. I've bought some: GEDEM "Negative Intentions" (Israeli power electronics), KRIEGSFALL-U "Kriegsfall-U" (hungarian noise), BARZEL "Brit Trumpeldor - Betar" (israel ambient/noise) and the T-shirt of 17 Migs of Spring (Israel experimental industrial band). The visitors started to come. I saw some goths who came there by mistake, I think. The first performance was started at 21:30, but before that Igor from The Eastern Front were DJing and playing dark folk/neofolk, something like trying to make ppl calm down before all the noise stuff.

Track 3. Crossfishes (Israel)
The first band on the scene was Crossfishes. Three guys began with some ambient, adding during the show experimental improvisations with guitar and shamanic stuff by voice screaming, declamating and playing on some unknown (at least for me) shamanic instruments. All that were turning inti noise in the middle and in the end (shamanic noise?). The only thing to improve, is the clothes. Shamanic suits would be the best and the effect from the performance must be much more powerful and atmospheric with that little-big detail. So, one more ritual ambient band in my music list to buy. Between the bands Igor was playing dark folk to dilute the noise shaggy atmosphere with folk beauty.
Track 4. Wreck & Drool VS Drone Lebanon (Israel)
W&D is a well-known for local audience person from The Chaos as Shelter project, making noise variations. Drone Lebanon is not only local known, but also world-known power electronics project. So these two bands were playing together on this festival. 30 minutes attacking our hears with powerful power electronics and noise in the best traditions of Masonna and The GeroGeriGeGeGe. Insane screaming, full noise and crazy screenshot made me wishing to wreck something. After their performance I was unconsciousness and only rain and neofolk in Igor's set made me to come back to reality.
Track 5. Rough Age (Canada)
This noise project is the main reasn of international status of this festival. Rough Age is the project of Canadian Zev Asher. The project has been active since 1988, was performing and cooperating with such noise-monsters as Merzbow, Aube and Masonna. So, that show was the most expecting. He started with some unusual surrealistic screenshot of live camera in some town/city, recording some unknown ppl on the street, zooming in and zooming out. Interesting simple stuff, but so effective. The music was sure inspired by Japanese Masonna and Merzbow. That was the most professional and amazing performance.
Track 6. Seventeen Migs of Spring (Israel)
The last project consists from post-USSR born ppl living in Israel and it’s called by the famous old soviet movie. They were presented on the flyer like "experimental tech drone" and really there were some experiments. It was mix of drone ambient, percussion industrial, standard noise and rhythmic noise. One composition was like industrial darkwave. It might be the best performance on the festival. With powerful drive waves, enchanting sounds, perfect original actions and endless energy. If I'll make music someday, I'll create something like Seventeen Migs of Spring.
Track 7. Outro
Honestly, I didn’t know industrial scene in Israel and didn't look after by the events here (will start now), but people's reactions were extremely positive it was felt like it was the best festival for them since the existing of the industrial in Israel. Personally, for me it was great! During the festival I had few musical orgasms (that I don't have them so often). In one word - itwasawesome!
